1972 Has a New Facebook Group

SOMETHING NEW FOR 1972:
We have a brand-new Yale University Class of 1972 Facebook Group. This Group was created by your class corresponding secretary, Bill Fowkes, at a recent AYA workshop on how to connect with class members via social media. While we already have a Facebook Page with over 100 members, we decided to add the Group because it offers two advantages: (1) members can post things whenever they want without having to go through an administrator, and (2) membership can grow quickly and organically, since we—and you—can simply sign people up and don’t have to wait for members to “like” the group. (People can quit at any time.)
We encourage you to:
(1) Sign up all your Facebook friends who are also members of the Class of 1972.
(2) Urge other people to join the group.
(3) Post anything—photos, news, thoughts—you think your fellow class members would enjoy seeing.
(3) React to items other Group members post, the way you do elsewhere on Facebook. Start a conversation and see where it takes us.
HOW TO JOIN: Search to find the YALE UNIVERSITY CLASS OF 1972 Group. (Caution: there are two of them. The new one has a blue photo with a big YALE banner like the one pictured here.)
