Jim Hartman Reports on Tribute Luncheon for Teammate Dick Jauron
December 23, 2015 in Events, Notes
I had the privilege of attending the tribute luncheon in New York for Dick Jauron (’73) one of my teammates who was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. In 3 1/2 hours, 10 speakers-including our 85 year old coach Carm Cozza-highlighted Dick’s character and qualities, and secondarily mentioned his athletic achievements. Dick is a wonderful athlete, a tremendous family man, and a class act from his years as a player and coach in the National Football League. In attendance from the class were Jeff Pettit, Jack Ford, Terry Kessler, Don Fizzinoglia, and Mike Schaffer. Tom Ketchum was scheduled but either I missed him or he did not make the affair.
Regards,
Jim Hartman
