“Teaching psychology and sociology at the local community college (Triton College, suburban Chciago), I also volunteer as faculty advisor for the college’s gay straight alliance. Our GSA students worked on a gorgeous Day of the Dead altar celebrating heros of gay liberation. Supporting the gay-straight alliance at our college and in local high school GSAs gives me the feeling that I’m in the battle, righting ancient evils, doing something useful with my Yale Ph.D.!”
