News from JIM PERKINS
“Since January 1, 2016 I’m working half time directing the blood banks of our 4 hospital system. Still traveling to India twice a year to give week-long workshops on blood group antibody identification through the little organization, the Indian Immunohematology Initiative, some friends and I started. Jane is winding down her business as well, but doing one last Smithsonian craft show this April. The boys are all well: Mikey is building timber frame homes in Vermont; Russell is back in school getting an MFA in NYC, but still chairing the board of the Wesleyan Center for Prison Education; Nick is looking in Bed-Stuy for a site for his long-awaited restaurant, while creating great food every day for the Tarlov organization in Williamsburg.”
