“I became a grandfather last April, and granddaughter Olivia at nine months has traveled to three continents. Yes I actually am stunned at how wonderful this role is. Although health is marginal I am happy in retirement. It is so wonderful to be away from the working world in a wonderful city [Nashville] that has everything that New England and New York and California could never offer. Every day I do exactly what I feel like doing, and it gets better every day. The ‘real’ world has become complicated and sometimes dangerous, but one of my best decisions was simply to stay away from all of that, and I am happy to report that it works.”
