News from Rob Bildner
July 10, 2013 in Legacies, Notes
Rob Bildner (DC) reports: “My mother Joan died suddenly in late June from cancer. Mom was 82, and I was fortunate that she was healthy and active into my 60’s. Many classmates have remembered Mom as a youthful and energetic mother as well as respected community leader. We miss her terribly. Other family transitions involve our four children (my wife is Elisa Spungen Bildner ’75): Elana ’06 graduated Columbia Law School and will be working in the fall for the law firm Freshfields in New York. Ari ‘09 joined the corporate office of Staples in Boston as a Communications Specialist. Eli ’10 is in Silicon Valley working for Coursera, the online course start-up working, among other things, with Yale to develop Yale’s on-line offerings. Finally, our youngest, Rafi ’16, is a politico, most recently involved in the New Haven mayoral race. I wish you all well and look forward to hearing your own news in the coming year on our new class website!”
