Bill Fowkes writes, “I’m happy to report that my full-length play, The Best Place We’ve Ever Lived, was presented in a workshop production off-off-Broadway in January, and my comedy, A Field Guide to Table Manners, was named a 2013 Reva Shiner Comedy Award Finalist. My daughter Julia graduates from the University of Michigan in May (ending my college obligations for this generation), and my husband Stephen Michael Smith and I celebrate our first wedding anniversary in June.”
