Nathan Wise (DC) reports that he “continues to try new things in his dotage: he joined the Connecticut Gilbert & Sullivan Society, auditioned, and will appear in his first opera, The Yeomen of the Guard in October (with two young grandsons as walk-on (‘townspeople’ doing cartwheels!).” He also reports that Alan Gaby (DC) has written his second musical comedy for his synagogue, based on pop music, Broadway classics, and witty stories of holidays.
