Rob Kunstadt Patents Invention
January 13, 2017 in Notes
Rob Kunstadt (TC) informs us that he has been granted U.S. Patent 9,498,065 on the invention of “self-assembling bricks” using 3D-printed polyhedron structures that interlock within a tensioned skin. It may be the first big improvement in bricks since the Great Pyramid of 2600 BC. See photos of the prototype and a video by MakerBot at the website: www.BornToRock.com/ImprovedBricks.html.
