“In November my wife, Murray, and I (TD)  travelled to Princeton for our bi-annual weekend with Gil Wald (TD) and his wife, Shealagh; John Amodeo (TD) and his wife, Pam; and Bill Olmstead (TD) and his wife, Lois, for the Yale-Princeton game. Unlike two years ago the game was a thriller with Yale scoring in the last three minutes to win. John is still a surgeon in New Haven. Gil retired a few years ago and works part-time at the local Barnes and Noble to keep out of his wife’s hair. Bill just retired from a career as a research chemist with Exxon labs in Morristown, NJ. He and his wife have been travelling a lot, but he recently wrote that now winter has set in, he is getting bored. He has two sons in the D.C. area and plans to visit us in February. Murray and I have a new grandson (our first grandchild) in San Carlos, CA, some 30 miles south of S.F. We plan to visit Pacific Grove, CA in March and then stay with our daughter, Heather, and grandson, Connor, over a long weekend.”
