I’ve been working on it for nearly two years under a grant that allowed me to meet with more than 160 experts on the topic on four continents. I now teach about disinformation, journalistic ethics and the geopolitics of information at Columbia’s Harriman Institute. Previously I was president and CEO of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in Prague and served in several posts, including Moscow bureau chief and ethics editor, at The Associated Press.”
